ABOUT US

Access Community Training was established in 1986 as a SkillShare organisation, providing training and support to the young people of Wollongong's northern suburbs. In 1997 it changed it's name to Access Community Group to better reflect the wider range of services it provides. It has operated continuously since then, expanding and evolving as it adapts to the needs of it's communities and the programmes funded by local, state and federal governements.

It is a not-for-profit organisation which is managed by a volunteer board of directors.

Currently ACG employs about 35 staff and provides services to over 1,500 clients throughout the Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands.

ACG is a registered charity.
